Blah…I’m glad this week is almost over.

Wow, a week away from writing seems like an eternity.  This past week has been insanely long.  I had my date with EB Saturday night, went to my parents’ on Sunday, helped mom pack on Monday and started having a fever and chills that night.  I spent pretty much all of Monday night through Thursday morning in bed sick.  I finally got to feeling well enough to drive home Thursday afternoon.  I’m still weak and shaky from barely eating all week.  I’m finally starting to feel a little better though.  I was even able to eat some vanilla yogurt today. Yay! 🙂

My sister had the balls to ask me this afternoon if I could watch my nephew tonight so she could go out with her old man, literally, the old man who was all over her at the party.  I can’t believe she even wants to see that drunk old man again.  Anyway, I told her no because I’m still sick.  She is still trying to talk me into watching him tomorrow night though.

My second date with EB went well.  I had a nice time just hanging out with him talking, grilling out and other things.  He’s definitely moving at a faster relationship speed than I am.  I told him that I like to take it my time with certain things.  I think he understands, but he still keeps sending me mushy romantic text messages and telling me things that I’m not sure I’m comfortable hearing just yet.  I think I’ve pretty much given up on that though.  I think I just bring out something in certain men that makes them act that way.  It’s like they can’t help themselves, so I’m just going to let them say what they must and ignore it for now.

EB really was sweet this week.  When I told him Tuesday that I was extremely sick he tried to talk me into coming to his place so he could take care of me.  I was in no state to drive however, and I also looked a hot mess and wasn’t about to let him see me looking like that.  Anyway, I had my sweet momma there to take care of me. 🙂

So it’s Friday night, just one more day until my birthday and my dad’s last Sunday preaching at his church before they move.  I just hope I’m feeling a lot better by Sunday.  Mainly because I want to stop by and see EB and get my birthday present! 😉

Good night & happy humping!

Happy does it feel to be 21 again? Have a great Day.
I take it that The Preacher is retiring , my best wishes to Mum and Dad and I wish them every happiness in their new home.

It is good to hear that you are taking things easy with EB, no rushing in where ‘angels fear to tread’ or ‘like a bull in a china shop’. Remember who got hurt last time!

    love P
