Walking the Green Mile…back to my parents house.

Yes, it’s true.  I’m moving back INTO my parents’ house.  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  And I thought I was already on the verge of a nervous breakdown.  Just wait until I actually have been back there for a couple of weeks.  Someone’s gonna get hurt.

Anyway, I actually had to call a family meeting before I left there today.  I think it’s possibly the first family meeting we’ve had in ten or twenty years.  I just wanted to make it clear that I was not happy about moving back, and I’m only doing it because I want to help them out and as an bonus, I’ll be able to pay off my fines from my DWI a lot faster.

By the way, DWI’s are very expensive.  By the time I pay the $966 main fine and the $80 alcohol and driving class thing fee, and $15 MADD class fee & the $35 per month to my parole officer for two years (I still can’t believe that I actually have a parole officer), those two long island iced teas ($8 + $2 tip) are going to end up costing me almost $2,000.  I’m also subject to random drug testing which is $35 a pop.  I already took one and passed, thank God.  Otherwise I would have had to keep going to drug court, all because of the pain medicine that I was on from my knee surgery.  Even though I had proof of my prescription I still had to do the drug court thing that once.  And lastly, my driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.  I have a countdown going.  Only 56 days to go!

My point is kids, Don’t Drink & Drive…EVER.  It costs too damn much.  Not to mention, you might end up living with your parents again when you’re 36 years old.  LOL

Can I get an AMEN?
