Free To Just Be Me

Sometimes all a girl needs is a night out on the town to put things into perspective.  That’s exactly what I did last night.  After a few days of fighting with Bobblehead Nerd I decided it was time to go home and take a break from him for a while, possibly for good.  I sent a text to an old “friend” just to see how he was doing and he invited me to the city for dinner.  I had a wonderful time.  We went to a few bars, had the best hamburger and loaded baked potato that I’ve ever had in my life, and listened to some hilarious karaoke.  After indulging in all this pure unadulterated fun, we went back to his place for the night.  I can’t remember the last time that I felt so comfortable and relaxed with someone.  It’s nice to be able to just “be” and not have to put on a front for people.
